RENEWALS
If you have a certification that requires renewal, it is essential to know the renewal period and the consequences of missing the deadline. For the 2026 certification renewal, the renewal period is from November 1st to December 31st annually. During this period, you need to submit your renewal information and payment to the certification authority. It is crucial to ensure that you submit your renewal information and payment on time because if it is not received on or before 11:59 PM on Dec. 31st, 2025, it is considered late.
If you submit your renewal information and payment late, a late payment fee of $100.00 will apply. Therefore, it is essential to mark your calendar or set a reminder to ensure you do not miss the deadline. The certification authority is strict about the renewal deadline, and there is no grace period for late submissions.
For the 2026 certification renewal, all certifications require an updated renewal sticker placed at the bottom of your BNMDP issued certificate. The sticker must be placed at the bottom, clearly displayed, not overlapping any wording or any signatures. This renewal sticker is proof that your certification is valid for the 2023 period. Without a valid sticker or no sticker at all, your certificate is invalid for the 2026 period. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that you have a valid sticker on your certificate before the end of the renewal period.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The World Organization of Natural Medicine (WONM) Series provides ongoing opportunities for healthcare professionals to advance their knowledge in integrative and traditional natural medicine. Through its annual events, professional days, and video series, members can earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) while learning from global experts.
Practitioners are required to complete 30 CEU hours for Doctors and 20 CEU hours for Practitioners each year. The WONM Series Video Series offers a flexible way to meet these requirements, featuring educational sessions on emerging trends, clinical applications, and humanitarian approaches to care.
Members are also encouraged to complete 10 volunteer service hours annually through Clinics for Humanity, supporting underserved communities while embodying WONM’s mission of compassionate service.
To remain in good standing, practitioners must renew professional liability insurance annually and may display their official WONM and Board designations on professional materials to enhance credibility and public awareness of natural medicine.
